DescriptionLocation WalkShop is a walking audit in Saint Paul’s North End. Participants will learn about Walkable Communities. Then we will take a walking tour of intersections along the Rice Street Corridor to assess walkability. The WalkShop will end with a wrap-up and brainstorming session to compile suggestions for improving the area’s walkability, and enhancing safety for pedestrians. The WalkShop will be led by consultants from BlueZones, Inc, national experts in and promoters of Walkable Communities. The event is free and open to the public. Lunch included. WalkShop is sponsored by SPAAR’s Community Engagement Committee. The event is funded by SPAAR with support from a NAR SmartGrowth Grant.
