Learn about—and volunteer with--Mapping Prejudice from the University of Minnesota.  This groundbreaking research created a visual map of properties with race-based restrictive covenants included in deeds.  SPAAR supported Mapping Prejudice’s efforts to scan and research property documents in Ramsey County.

Staff from Mapping Prejudice will share information about this research.  In hour two, participants will learn how they can help research property deeds by reviewing scanned documents for discriminatory restrictive covenants.  

Participants are requested to bring a laptop.   Registration requested.
