Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a). Attendees must sign-in on the attendance sheet prior to class start time. If you join the class after the instructor begins/sign-in sheets are removed, you are considered late and no CE can be earned – regardless of reason (no exceptions for traffic, parking, or weather). The course will also inform local realtors about the background and compliance requirements of Saint Paul’s smoking disclosure ordinance for sales of units in common interest communities. This educational offering is recognized by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce as satisfying 1.0 hour of credit toward continuing real estate education, provided by the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®.
