⏱️ Be on time or early for class. Do not leave the class for an extended period of time outside breaks. Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a).
Attendees must sign-in on the attendance sheet prior to class start time. If you join the class after the instructor begins/sign-in sheets are removed, you are considered late and no CE can be earned – regardless of reason (no exceptions for traffic, parking, or weather).

Title 101
Attendees will be given a very basic yet informative and easy to understand introduction to the title insurance requirements, issues, and obstacles affecting their real estate transactions today. Students will be able to follow title work, understand title standards better, and be able to properly translate title exceptions, problems, or needs to their clients.

This educational offering is recognized by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce as satisfying 2.0 hour of credit toward continuing real estate education, provided by the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®.

Jodi Bach
As the MN State Manager of Knight Barry Title, Jodi is responsible for overseeing multiple offices with real estate property title searches and production, closing service, document preparation and recording for real estate sales, refinances, new construction, acquisitions, 1031 exchanges, and more.  She is particularly involved with title clearing and the closing process, with her primary goal to assist Knight Barry Title in providing qualiry title searches and successful closings that end with the assurance buyers and lenders will be able to enjoy their full bundle of rights expected when purchasing or financing the home.

Jodi brings more than 20 years of experience to her role, including experience working with real estate agents, lenders, sellers, buyers, and attorneys. As a results of her background, Jodi's approach is one of confidence in the practices and standards.

SPAAR Education Policy for Cancellations, Refunds, & No Shows: 

SPAAR refund policy-In order to receive a refund for a class, students must provide a cancellation request with-in 24 hours to the class. Students who cancel after, who arrive late for class, or who do not show up, will not receive a refund. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.  For classes offered to students with no enrollment fee, a $25 no-show fee will be issued for any student who does not cancel 24-hours prior and who does not attend the class, due upon receipt.
