Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. (MN Statute 45.30,4a). Classes are timed, with a guaranteed ‘seat-time’ metric. Course completion is defined in the system as having completed all learning modules and activities, passing the final exam, and completing the end of course survey. The course must be completed prior to the indicated expiration date of the course. Fair Housing, Agency Law, & Legal Update This course will provide real estate licensees with knowledge of Agency relationships and duties in MN, and fair housing laws and resources. Information will also be shared on RESPA, marketing services agreements and the loan estimate form, Common Interest Ownership properties statutes, highlighting different types of properties, disclosure obligations, and rights. This educational offering is recognized by the MN Commissioner of Commerce as satisfying 3.75 hours of credit toward continuing real estate education, provided by the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®. This Module satisfies the 1-Hour Fair Housing, 1-Hour of Agency Law, and the 1-Hour Broker Module Requirement.
