⏱️ Be on time or early for class. Do not leave the class for an extended period of time outside breaks. Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a).
Attendees must sign-in on the attendance sheet prior to class start time. If you join the class after the instructor begins/sign-in sheets are removed, you are considered late and no CE can be earned – regardless of reason (no exceptions for traffic, parking, or weather).



Intro to Commercial Real Estate & Commercial Terminology
An introductory course on the most important and the very basics of commercial real estate (CRE), examining the differences between commercial and residential real estate. CRE terminology is easy to learn by following along.


This educational offering is recognized by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce as satisfying 1.5 hour of credit toward continuing real estate education, provided by the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®.

Scott Miller
Currently a Senior Director with KW Commercial specializing in Multi-Family and Investment Properties, Scott has been in the Residential and Commercial real estate and construction industry for over 55 years.

His experiences include: everything from rehabbing, buying, selling and consulting on a variety of different types of properties and projects. Through his work in the construction industry and many civic volunteer positions, Scott has become quite at ease in representing clients before city councils, environmental regulatory, inspectors, neighborhood boards and other civic and governmental bodies in the best interests of his clients. Scott's strength lies in listening to and understanding clients' needs.

SPAAR Education Policy for Cancellations, Refunds, & No Shows:

SPAAR refund policy-In order to receive a refund for a class, students must provide a cancellation request with-in 24 hours to the class. Students who cancel after, who arrive late for class, or who do not show up, will not receive a refund. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. For classes offered to students with no enrollment fee, a $25 no-show fee will be issued for any student who does not cancel 24-hours prior and who does not attend the class, due upon receipt.
