How Big Is It? Join instructor, Zoe Liston, for an in-depth instruction on why real estate agents need to measure homes and how to do it. This class covers different floor plans, all the tools needed to do the job, and the definitions you need to understand. Discussion of things that can trip you up like overhangs, bay windows, decorative features, etc. This is a very practical class that will give you expertise on measuring. This educational offering is recognized by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce as satisfying 3.75 hours of Continuing Real Estate Education requirements. Starting in 2003, Zoe has been developing and teaching classes for the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS® (MAR), other local associations, the National Association of REALTORS®, Kaplan, and NorthstarMLS. She was instrumental in assisting the development of the appraisal division of the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS®. Zoe was also a member of NAR 2010-2011 National Appraisal Committee and past member of the Board of Directors for MAR. She has been serving on the Agent Advisory Committee for MLS representing appraisers since its inception. In teaching for NorthstarMLS she introduces all the staff, agents, and appraisers to Matrix when new areas and associations join NorthstarMLS. She is a graduate of Cornell University and is very active in the real estate community.
