DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy TODAY'S COURSE WILL BE OFFERED IN-PERSON ONLY. This course will help REALTORS® understand important aspects of the appraisal side of real estate. It covers basic history of appraising along with a detailed comparison of the difference between appraisal and CMAs. Attendees will learn how appraisers work, who they work for, how they search for comps, what guidelines they have to follow, and why they do what they do. ⏱️ Be on time and do not leave the class for any period of time outside breaks. Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. (MN Statute 45.30 Subd 4a). Attendees must sign-in prior to class start time. Anyone joining the class after the start time is considered late and no CE can be earned – regardless of reason (traffic, parking issues, and/or weather are not excused). ✔️ Be respectful and courteous of your peers. Any attendee not engaged and attentive during the class will be denied CE credits. Starting in 2003, Zoe has been developing and teaching classes for the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS® (MAR), other local associations, the National Association of REALTORS®, Kaplan, and NorthstarMLS. She was instrumental in assisting the development of the appraisal division of the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS®. Zoe was also a member of NAR 2010-2011 National Appraisal Committee and past member of the Board of Directors for MAR. She has been serving on the Agent Advisory Committee for MLS representing appraisers since its inception. In teaching for NorthstarMLS she introduces all the staff, agents, and appraisers to Matrix when new areas and associations join NorthstarMLS. She is a graduate of Cornell University and is very active in the real estate community. SPAAR Education Policy for Cancellations, Refunds, & No Shows: SPAAR refund policy-In order to receive a refund for a class, students must provide a cancellation request with-in 24 hours to the class. Students who cancel after, who arrive late for class, or who do not show up, will not receive a refund. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. For classes offered to students with no enrollment fee, a $25 no-show fee will be issued for any student who does not cancel 24-hours prior and who does not attend the class, due upon receipt.
